On Saturdays, head down to the heart of Little Italy for one of the best farmers markets in town. Every Saturday, rain or shine you'll find everything from flowers, fresh fruits and vegetables to candles, and jewelry.
What makes the Little Italy farmers market so enchanting is the setting. Start your day at Date and India and walk along while enjoying a fresh cappuccino from one of the authentic Italian coffee shops in the area and then find a quiet spot to sit and enjoy fresh bread and listen to some live music.
Once you've filled your basket full of goodies, take a stroll around the neighborhood. There are parks to enjoy, fantastic restaurants to eat at and funky stores to shop in.
The farmers market runs from 8-2 p.m.
